When your supporters host parties for your candidate, you get votes, volunteers, AND funds!

Here's how a house party works:

Your supporters host parties in their homes. If you are running for a federal office, ask your lawyer about the FEC "house party exemption" -- supporters can spend up to $1,000 per adult in the household without having to file paperwork. Your campaign does NOT incur any expenses for the individual parties and you don't have to deal with any paperwork.

Simply set up a party web site (see options below for free sites) and invite your supporters to host parties. Schedule a party day and ask everyone to host parties on that date. You can even arrange a conference call to allow the candidate to call into every party at the same time!

How to set up your party program:

1) You can use Party2Win for up to 10 parties FREE. You get a party site you can customize with your banner and candidate's photo, and your supporters get everything they need to send invitations, request contributions, and manage their guest list. Start the party today!

2) No time to manage a party site? If you're running for the house or senate, you can direct supporters to the ActBlue party site. They simply set up a contribution page that features your campaign. Send supporters to ActBlue's Party2Win Center to set up parties.

3) Join free training conference calls to find out how to promote and manage your party. David Salie, former director of house party fundraising for Howard Dean, will teach your campaign how to recruit hosts, manage parties, and raise funds. See the conference call schedule.

Schedule parties for October to take advantage of Turn America Blue party publicity. Your parties will be automatically listed on this website.
